How It's Made

1. Design:Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed designs of steel products. Convert the designs into computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) files so that the CNC machine can read and execute them.
2. Programming:Upload the CAM file to the control system of the CNC machine. Set the cutting parameters.
3. Cutting:Start the CNC fiber laser cutting machine. The laser produces a high-intensity beam that is transmitted to the cutting head through an optical fiber. The laser beam is focused on the surface of the steel, generating high temperatures to melt or vaporize the steel, while high-pressure gases (such as oxygen or nitrogen) blow away the molten metal to achieve cutting.
4. Cooling and cleaning: After cutting, the steel product needs to be cooled. At the same time, the cut edges are cleaned to remove residual slag or oxides to ensure smooth and precise edges.
5. Post-processing:If needed, the cut steel products are further processed, such as welding, bending, grinding, painting, etc.
